Words I Never Said (feat. Skylar Grey)

Today is the official release of Lupe Fiasco’s LASERS album— and therefore I found it appropriate to share a track from said album. I’ll start by saying that I’m nonchalant about Lupe. When his music is playing, I don’t hate it— but other than some singles, I haven’t owned any of his previous albums.

This album however, ended up in my iTunes library (and now on my iPhone) due to both Podgypanda and the fact that I got to see him live during Big Day Out. I have to say— I really haven’t invested enough listening time to Lupe’s music. The song above in particular continues to loop in my head and really speaks to the state of current affairs.
